Mental Amalgamations (2018-2023)

These figure-based works are selected from my past explorations of compiled imagery to convey a wide range of internal landscapes and narratives. I combined symbolic elements with broken layered spaces to give life to specific personal states of mind. Examples of these include dissociation from past identities, my evolution from a religious upbringing to atheism, nostalgic reflections on childhood, anxiety regarding climate change, dreamlike experiences of creative transcendence, grief for lost loved ones, and death acceptance.
