Tide Pool Impressions
Tide pools are an endless source of fascination for me. They reward time spent watching them by unfolding into ever more complex micro worlds of colorful intricate life and movement. Due to their cyclical nature and sensitivity to changes over time, tide pools feel symbolic of both cycles in my own life and the significance of larger shifts caused by humanity’s environmental impact. Tide pool creatures live on the very edge between two worlds, land and sea, adapting to and thriving in the extremes of both.
